This work represents early trauma as an obscuring force. A dense, dark ground is interrupted by a dominant white form that reads as both void and figure. The white presence suggests a demon-like imprint, distorting and partially erasing the surrounding environment. Fragments of colour and gesture attempt to emerge around it, but remain disrupted, creating tension between what is visible and what is suppressed. This is the first painting in the Demons series.
