This work explores material tension through layered, reactive surfaces. Dense passages of black and deep red are disrupted by bursts of ochre and gold, creating a strong contrast between darkness and illumination. Thick, textured areas sit alongside fluid pours, giving the surface a sense of movement and instability. The composition feels both controlled and eruptive, as if forms are emerging and breaking apart simultaneously.
